About Harsha
We commenced our distribution business viz., Prakash Electric Company in the year 1983. Having achieved a commendable market share by 1986, we were motivated to start organized retail business - a time when organized retailing was hardly recognized or appreciated in India.
In 1987, we marked our first baby step in retailing with the opening of our Consumer durable showroom ‘Harsha’ viz., ‘Happiness’ at K M Marg, Udupi. It was a 7,000 sq.ft. large showroom built to serve a population of about 60,000. Driven by this foresight, we achieved an annual turnover of Rs. 328 Crores by the year 2015-16.
We are recognized as the most Innovative Retailer in Karnataka. We continue to be a respected as a consumer durable retailer adhering to strict ethical standards. We strive to act fair and even in selling the goods and services to the consumers.
